Our story
Hi, my name is Josh and I am a Cotswold based family, wedding, pet and nature photographer. I capture natural moments, using the local environment to create unique and memorable images that last a lifetime.

I have had a passion for photography from a very young age. I can remember my Dad using his Canon AE-1 film SLR to take family photos and to shoot the odd wedding. This same camera was gifted to me on my 16th birthday. I honestly didn’t appreciate it at the time but now, 2 decades later, I have a renewed passion and respect for photography.
Whether it be patiently waiting for the right moment to capture a bird in a local wildlife park or shooting at a busy wedding venue, I do my best to freeze moments in time that are transformed into precious memories to look back on for years and years to come.
Ever since mobile phones started integrating cameras, I was taking photos with them. Mobile phones are a great way of capturing moments quickly whilst having them readily available in your pocket to look back on. However, I would get frustrated with the limitations with things like image quality and being able to zoom or getting that nice blurry background behind a subject. Eventually, I took the leap and bought my first DSLR and a 50mm lens and have never looked back!
As a photographer, I am always striving to improve and build on my craft by constantly learning new photography and editing skills and techniques. This passion for learning has recently extended into film photography. My wife bought me a 1950’s Conway Superflash box camera which takes 120mm film. I find it improves my composition skills as I have to really think about what I want my image to look like plus, I have to be sure about when I press the shutter as I am limited by how many exposures my film has! It’s an exciting journey to be on and I hope to do more film photography work in the future.
